View from Tosson hill overlooking Thropton.Thropton is situated 2 miles west of Rothbury. The village stands near the junction of the Wreigh Burn and the River Coquet, with a splendid outlook over the Simonside Hills.

What a breathtaking view! I love the different colors of the fields in view, so pretty. I also like how the sun is shining on the stalks of grass sticking up high in the foreground.

I opened up this photo and the first thing I said to myself was "That is stunning." In a single shot you capture so much of the surrounding landscape: the moors, the farms, the village, and the distant mountains. Wonderful shot, crystal clear, I almost feel like I am there!
