A first experiment with a Blending filter I recently unearthed. Both images are very recent posts, and just happened to be the handiest at the time. To be honest, I have no idea what happened, but I did like the effect.

Very cool idea Doug, A combo meal of two great photos. Can't beat that. Now I'll be waiting for the "Pathway to Spring" photo. Take care!

To me on vacation in Florida it looks too much like the road home. It conveys an interesting, albeit slightly spooky blend of warm and cold colors, not to mention seasons - a successful experiment!

I don't know, Doug. I read your narrative as well as the comments above. I just don't see the blending and manipulation that everyone is talking about. This shot looks perfectly normal in my universe except that the sky is never blue in my world.
