Another 400mm grab shot that has too much movement going on, but still managed a poor shot of that stance.Thought it was worth showing, as probably most folks have seen that movie. And of course, Dorothy is impatiently awaiting a post she can tear apart :-).

Even with the movement, the shot is still good! :) Absolutely worth showing.

I think it is worth sharing, and that stance goes perfectly with that title. Tigs♥ =^..^=

The heron definitely has the 'karate kid' stance down. A tad soft on focus, but I sure love the composition / colors & your timing on the capture was perfect. Superbly captured, Doug.

A classic example of content overruling technical subtleties. It's an excellent and fascinating capture.

Thank god, Doug. Finally a shot that I can rip to shreds. Prepare yourself as the predatory carnivore zooms in for the kill on your posting.

Actually, Doug, it's postings like this that give me hope. I thought that all of your shots were perfect; so it just gives me a warm and fuzzy feeling to see a few subtle flaws.

My biggest complaint is that the Karate Kid used this particular move sans the fish.

I'm not afraid of dying. I just don't want to be there when it happens.
