Doug, I've been back to the Arts Council a number of times to nominate "Autumn in Vermont" and "Zulu" but it's still busted. This is another one that I would have nominated. The moss on the fence posts, the colors of the leaves and the texture of the wagon wheel make this a simple yet nearly perfect posting. As always the composition and balance are right on the mark. The richness of the colors just blow me away. Rack up another "fave" from Dots.

Really great. The colors and textures are so real that I feel I can touch them. I love the way the green moss highlights the wheel.

Ah yes, I remember well this big wheel. He did many a good turn, never had spoke untrue, always involved at the hub of things. Excellent photo as usual. Great colors, and the rhythm of the spoke angles gives it energy.
