Another shot of Sawmill Lane before it reaches the point where the last post began. This particular filter is called Cylindrical Mirror, and this was a first time view for me as well. Looks like fun though.

Doug, I love all of this editing software that you've told me about. It makes more great fun playing with a shot to see what you can do, to see what looks good or not, just to be a little more creative. The downside is the VB. I am learning to ignore it, but I wish that the folks would take a longer look than the standard one second peak so that they can rush their masterpiece into the galleries. Maybe they would realize that a little extra time went into the posting.

As for your shot. I love the effect. Looks like a bobsled run to me. I'd give this a 6.5 or maybe a 6.9. Bet it doesn't reach 40 in the C-Index.

You're right about the C index Dorothy. It won't reach anything, as I don't subscribe to it.

there's a Cylindrical Mirror effect here? this is how i normally view pathways at the end of the mind (obscure reference to wallace stevens' "palm at the end of the mind"). well done mon ami

Now that is some deep snowfall you received this past winter. Glad I didn't have to tunnel my way through that drift. Good post work on your photo.

None of us - SOS Society at least - cares at all about any indices !!! LOL

So, if Dorothy is right [and most probably she IS], it makes no difference whatsoever to those who like the image.

Hey Doug - great photo with some nifty editing! I think a sleigh run through this tunnel would be a blast!
