I'm quite old although I'm not sure I know how to "twig to a title" However, I do know who Rapunzel is in the fairy tale, was there another with a tractor instead of a mighty steed to rescue her? (I like the smooth texture and and color in this shot, very nice)
I had no idea that Rapunzel was stuck in a grain silo.
Just a couple of things. First of all, Caedes is abuzz with your recent beaver shot which the mods must have missed. Now you're really throwing it in their faces with this MF tractor. At least you had the decency to abbreviate the terminology. You really have a sick and twisted mind, Doug.
Like the shot but as always I'm bothered by a few things. The silo is slightly left leaning which means that this is the Canadian version of the Leaning Tower of Pisa or that the entire shot is left leaning. With that horizon, who can tell. Secondly, there is some blur on the right where the sky meets the tree line.
I'm not sure what "twig to the title" means either. Is this the way you talked when you were a beatnik in the 50's? I even checked online and found nothing except for a conversation re: bible verse where somebody wrote "twig to the title".
Bold and vibrant color and neat subject. I am over 35, but I don't know what 'twig the title' means either. I like your handling of the lighting and the soft effect. The subject(s) really stand out.
The reason why the sun sets in the evening is because it wants to see the sunrise in the morning. I rise in the morning because I want to see them both. RvdB
Looks like a bit of tilt-shift photography. Love the smoothness in the colours and focus. Great composition of the scene and lovely colours and focus work. Very nicely done Doug.
An old Massey Ferguson ... which appears to be in mint condition. I think I know where Rapunzel come into play. Love the colors contrasts. Very well done, Doug.
