Found this little dragonfly on a huge decaying windfall. Almost discarded it as it was hard to see fine detail with so much heavier and crisper tree bark detail all around. Came across another new tool in PSP X4. It allows you to size various shapes as selections and apply whatever amount of diffusion you want. Of course, there are numerous ways to do the same thing. This one took about 3 seconds.

Interesting post work on this photo, Doug. Good details and textures in the image. Perhaps try an irregular border between the two areas of the image.

This is a cool picture. I like the hard edge to the soft focus. It makes it seem as thought you are looking through a magnefying glass. :)
