Some might remember an image taken from this full frame. It was entitled, Snoasis, and was the center clump. I just forgot to post this full version, and came across it looking for something else.

I believe I do remember it, Doug. I love the long shadows here. I hope we don't see the real stuff too soon.

The reason why the sun sets in the evening is because it wants to see the sunrise in the morning. I rise in the morning because I want to see them both. RvdB

I love the long shadows and the little sprouting plants that resemble miniature trees. The sparkling snow crystals are superbly photographed.
We have lots of the white stuff creating havoc in this country right now but so far we have escaped it - if we get it this will be an inspiration to brave the cold :)

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

after veiwing this pic..and if those are indeed trees sticking out of the snow? then my theory about this long & never ending winter must be true! we've been all shrunk to miniaturize & stuck in a snow globe! some idiot just keeps shaking it for amusement day after day turning us upside down & causing several inchs to just keep on coming..day after day! well atleast we have wifi access in the globe to connect to Caedes! i just hope we dont get put up on a fireplace mantel all summer long as well.
all kidding aside, its a great shadowed snow shot!
