Just thought this flower was working harder to make it's presence known.

These aren't easy to capture. I have some and they are dark pink with silver stems. I wish I knew what they are called. I knew when I put them in. lol Good dof, Doug, and a lovely red smiling face.

This is a pretty shot, Doug. You mastered the color which is hard to capture. I agree with Bob and Cindy great dof.

Your presentation of this little lovely is done so well, the color pops with the contrasts, I have no idea what this little lovely is called. Tigs♥ =^..^=

As always I can't fault the composition, Doug. That dark background makes the flower pop as if it needed any help. Didn't your mother tell you not to get too near the flowers at the nuclear power plant? I still wish I could take a flower shot half as well as you do.

P.S. I would have cloned out that tiny white dot on the far left of the bloom like anybody would even care.

The reason why the sun sets in the evening is because it wants to see the sunrise in the morning. I rise in the morning because I want to see them both. RvdB

Striking colours in the blooms, Doug. A nicely composed scene and good DoF.
