Here's yesterday's image in monochrome. I don't think there's as much dramatic difference between the two versions of this subject, as the Tetons are particularly awesome, and would be an outstanding subject in any genre. Anyway, it's always an easy option to consider in this digital age.

I have gone back and forth several times and both have their merits.
It is an outstanding image in B&W as well as color.
I think the B&W might be just a touch more dramatic.
But Yes it is a very close call.

This is my favorite of the two. The snow and clouds look more natural.

I prefer the black and white version, Doug. The color version showed some of the more subtle defects used in the conversion from the 40 year old Kodachrome slide. Right or wrong, that's my story and I'm stickin' to it.
