This is a wonderful historic piece of work, Doug.
I like the editing .. the colors , details and textures are excellent. So much sadness and tragedy on both sides of this and so many others like it. Very well done.

Well it's a neat idea but maybe poorly executed. You could have cropped more from the bottom and extended the starry sky on the top. Perhaps you could have also set the starry sky as a graduated filter layer so it blends into the image.
