I probably have posted too many of the various desert cactus, but I find them so fascinating, having grown up on very flat land, soil, rich from once being an inland sea. This is deep in southern Arizona, and a whole different ballgame.

I don't think you post to many.
They are beautiful and Mother Nature made no two alike. I like the tones perfect for a Southwest scene. I have never been to Southern AZ this makes me want to go !

I'm a cinema study student and I see many classic American western scenes in 30's and 40's films and yours fit right in with the best cinematographers Doug. They are classic and beautiful.

Great b&w with nice clarity. The cactus seem like they might just get up and walk away.

I was at that convention, Doug. I didn't understand why they brought in those hookers with the sharp spines (I think that they were hookers). I had no idea that you were there. And believe it or not, that's me just to the left of the large cactus on the right. I'm wearing the Shriner's hat and kilts.

Well one more is not going to make much of a difference. When you reach the limit you'll receive the proper notification.

Great lighting in the photo Doug. Nice composition of the scene. I like how the cacti stand out in the image.
