Between what's left of this old farm home and the massive cliffs in the background, is the Mexico / USA border. The Rio Grande flows roughly through the centre of those high cliffs. Hard to believe but this area was a farming community into the middle of the 20th century, here in SouthWest Texas.

This sure has alot of impact Doug, very well done on all counts that I can think of. I think I saw a cowboy on horseback in the background. :) Just my visual from viewing this superb image. I wonder is there is alot of border crossing in this area?

Very clear textures in this and also that sky looks good. Harsh but at the same beautiful.

Doug - This is quite a scene! The remnants of the farm building, viewed with the mountains as backdrop is quite dramatic. If I may be frank, there is a disconnect in the sky lighting (direction from the distant upper center) and bright side lighting on the mountains and brick. Thad
