Just perfect, Mary! Such a wonderful idea for a shot and I guess that must be what's known as a Koan? Fascinating idea to consider. Beautiful photograph!
You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.

Hi Mary, this is so beautiful, and I love the philosophy to go with it. Like a simple smile, the ripples have an effect on everything around them.....excellent image...Jacquie
Hey Mary,
Such a simple image, such meaningful scene, (~8 8~)
About your question,
Fresh; that depends on how you define it, or more accurately but more difficultly to find out, how the stone defines the word fresh,
A journey; indeed, a journey it is, but not plural unless the stone escapes the water again,
The stone, entering the water; a stark being, peaceful, lovely, attracted by earth, water, fire and wind,
You must be right, it must symbolize the evolution of our world,
Nicely done,
-- “Art achieved via many worlds but our real one has very little or nothing in common with the ting we, the spectator associate it with, on the contrary, it might and will be the exact opposite” -- Tim. (~8 8~)
Inventive image Mary
