the herring river in west harwich, cape cod, massachusetts... a tidal salt marsh,this is all conservation land... during a full moon high tide, or a storm tide, most of this is flooded

This is a charming photo, and so much fun to look at. I think, though, that if it were mine, I would've cropped it a bit more to eliminate most, if not all, of the bland sky. But I love it nonetheless! (PS: We've seen that dinghy once before, have we not? Is it yours?)

I've always loved the tidal waters. I can almost smell the salty ocean aroma. The colors here are sensational!!
