didn't know whether to post this in b&w or colour, either way was interesting for singular reasons... maybe I'll post the b&w later... this is at grays beach in yarmouthport, cape cod, massachusetts, on the bay... the same boardwalk as in an earlier photograph, entitled 'tide's in'...

What a wonderful example of a vanishing point and from the perspective point of view it's exemplary. But there's a bit of an artistic twist that catches the eye and I won't give it away, but it endears me to your view ...you are such a good artist.

Hey Mary,
I'm glad you showed us the color version, it is so saturated, it makes a strong image, (~8
As I pointed out, I love the colors a lot, especially when they merge together so well, refreshening my day,
Very nicely done,

Thanks for sharing
Warm regards
Tim

Wow! Very long boardwalk. I've never seen one before since I've never had the opportunity to travel much. Cool! And very well taken. :)

My 'puter crashed the other day so I'm trying to get my new one up and running. ;-( This new OS (Vista) is going to take some getting used to. Sorry I haven't been commenting as much as I would like to. ;-) Steve

Do post it in black and white! Eager to see the perspective that way. However, it will be hard to beat the blue shadows and the golden light and the rich hues of the grass.

Great choice for the name. I like how you've got it off center. It does look like it goes on forever!

Nice capture - It has the feeling of eternity about it.
