This statue was on the walkway from Arlinton National Cemetary in DC. Took it a while ago and just found it in my pile and thought: why not? It was a really cold day and snowed all the time. I had to quickly take my hands out of my pocket, take the pic, and put them back in before my hands freez. Hope you enjoy

well centered, well framed. I think you could get a more impressive effect with a better sky and different lighting.

I like the composition and especially the almost monochrome, somber feeling it imparts. That's a good interpretation of a memorial such as this.

Hello Shiba....Going through your gallery I came across this picture of the 101st Airborne Division memorial....It is such a nice honest posting...Very good detail with cold greys and I love the curves in the stonework and the hedge....All the best to you.....Mick.
