Mad job here. I like this alot because it is very different for you.(but hen again everythig you do is a suprise!)The cubr has different patterns on the different sides, I like this. Also because you used different colours in each pattern, some the same. Good job overall!
Hmmmm... Contemplates navel for a bit.
I do have to say that this does not do so much for me. I can appreciate the idea, the manipulation and the "breaking throughness" of the swish motif, but in the end, it seems to lack ....Oomph. (for lack of a technical term.)However I do like the mesh idea and the swish itself..... keep experimenting.
Definitely different - and intriguing. I'm not sure it quite works for me, though there are aspects I do like.
Unless it is an illusion, the "cube" is not a cube, is it. It is more of a malformed cube. I guess I'd prefer either a more obviously non-cube object or a real cube. The patters are not really on the sides either, but seem to be inside the structure. I'm not sure if this is intended or not, but it seems a little "off".
I like the mesh idea, but it seems to flat in comparison with the 3d non-cube.
I don't mean to sound hypercritical. I'm probably talking rubbish anyway, though it is rubbish intended in the best possible way!
I really like the patterns on/in the cube and the colours. I also like the contrast between the patterns and the sharp geometrical lines of the rest of the image. The whoosh out is very nice and the overall concept is good. Maybe the non-cube could be a little larger, but I'm not sure it isn't better like this.
I look forward to seeing what you do with this next (or what you do with something else, for that matter).
