this image evokes in me a sense of logic and understanding, as i contemplate the dual parallel rings. each of three pairs aligns with three mutually perpendicular planes, defining a three dimensional object. the simple resulting sphere elegantly suggests the recurring theme of primary geometric shapes: the square and the triangle, bent by the circular beams defining them, encompassed in the sphere as a whole. the equidistant spacing of the rings divides the sphere into three axially equal parts, in each of the x,y, and z planes, suggesting three squared, or nine, or even a cubic sphere. simple, elegant, and clean.
I never saw this before! But then from the looks of the comments I wasn't here yet. Very beautiful and I love the reds. The design is unique and so cool! I think I would have sharpened the piece a bit though. I'm a nut for sharpness! Great piece of work!
