THAT is goooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooood! Look at the detail on old spike. I read an article on shooting thru glass. It said, never use flash; place your lens right up to the glass; keep the lens at a 45 degree angle to the glass. This is well done as in "first class".

Is that his name, Spike?.....Excellent close-up!..the clarity is supberb on this!..taken on an S3 eh!....went after one o them yesterday...but were all outa stock!
Fantastic capture. It's interesting to hear how you took the shot. That was the same technique I used on Big Boss Man. What setting did you use? My course instructor said to use the outside or panoramic setting as it forces the focal point beyond the glass and removes the glass, scratches and imperfections and all, from the image. Works really well if the glass is not dirty beyond reason.. Perfect image of great quality and amazing detail. Well done. It has been a great week for zoo captures:)
Can't always give individual thanks but I am so appreciative of everyone's comments and input. I truly enjoy seeing all of your posts and am always happy to see you at My Gallery. Thanks, Anita
Had this in the VB. Can't ask for a more clear shot Charlie. Beautiful detail shown here. Great image deserving of a high score ... at least that was opinion.
Outstanding image full of crisp clear details and a variety of textures to capture the eye. The dark background really makes the lizard pop out. Very well done Charlie!
