You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.

I was going to say you are either a brave soul or a foolish one. Kidding a little ... a little here.
Not a creature to mess around with, and they deserve the utmost respect. The nests that they build are fascinating structures of natural architecture. Now then, your image here ...
Really well composed. A standout element in my mind. I would go so far as to say ... perfect.
Good detail and clarity.
The only caveat I have is the slightly washed out aspects of the nest itself. I am not a photography expert, by no means ... and I hope that someone can come by and offer a suggestion that could assist you.
I don't think it is only a question of exposure. However, you could try ... next time, bracketing your shots (the images shown in the article highlight the differences ... just an f.y.i.) ... so that when you are back at your pc and viewing them you have some choices available to you.
Really well done, make no mistake about my words above ... I do enjoy this one very much.
AAAAHHH!! The ONLY thing in this world that I am scared of. I will pick up snakes, spiders....ANYTHING. A wasp, or anything that resembles one, freaks me out completely. They look so evil. Awesome picture though dear. You are braver than I. They look like they are about to pounce on you.
Peace.
