The look on her face is one I often wear myself. It is the discovery of a sad truth that you cannot discuss with those around you because they are it. There is a point when you realize that you are different, and different means alone. Some find it in public while others find it in private, but we all wear this face when it hits us. Think about it for a minute before you voice your opinion.

Hmmm...thought provoking...the echoes almost give off her mind going in slow motion when this realization hits

Great photo - bad desktop. The echos are the nice touch that really drew me into looking at this photo. Your description makes me realize that I have worn that expression too. It may not have been my realization that I was different, though. It may have happened the first time someone broke my heart. Regardless, her disappointment is palpable.

the message you write is reinforced by multiple images-as though the present were arriving slowly, like the realization you write of..a great photo and I am jealous of technique.......care to teach??? Love this photo!!

It isn't all that hard. The floor mats gave me the idea, like she was gliding into th place. I wanted to make it a continual streak, but I just don't have the software capabilities. I took a cutout of her face and clothes (not the hair) and spaced them how I wanted them, but I adjusted the transparency of each layer to fit what looked right. I must say I was happier with it when I was creating it than I am now, but isn't that always how it works?

I find your pictures of people are always the most interesting to look upon, because they are so real, real people like you and I, in such an artistic mood though. Almost like what life would feel like if it had background music. Quite cool. Are these people your friends or are you super sly with a camera?
