im sorry to all those that commented on the first one and faved it :( i truly do apologize. it was just too blue over all for me to look at any longer. this one will stay!
Gorgeous and an improvement on the tones...not sure about the moon as there is already a lot going on with the branches, reflections, and stonework but nevertheless a real beauty and one I'll fave again.
Stylo, you get carried away because your creative mind is always at work, I do see the difference and I like what you did here, but I do agree with SAW about the moon. Kudos my friend, you sure have a knack for something different. tigs=^..^=
thank you trixie :) seems we have a bunch of "moon haters" among us...lol if this were the 70's people would be mooning all over this site :) too funny!!
LOL, reminds me of an old Cat Stevens song..."I'm being followed by a moon shadow, moon shadow moon shadow..."...I recall another great image of yours where you ended up adding a moon...now don't get me wrong...I do like the moon but sometimes less is more...also know how sometimes 'we' can over-think our art.
lol ..yeah it was the contest with the bank building,"my town take it or leave it" wow that contest caused riots in the streets of the UK if i remember correctly. i did redo that one smaller and of course you were right(too big) it did look better reduced... but thats what we're all here for, to help one another! like hangin a picture on the wall properly, hard to do when your the one holding it up to the wall, lot easier when you have help from a friend in the distance to tell you which way to turn and make straight...im a right people? i love honest critiques. they make your work better!
Moon or no moon, it's a beauty!! You could just write a new song Stylo- "Moon over Stoneami". Wow, now that's a stretch:): I really like the feel here. Great colors and being dark gives it a eerie "Van Gogh" look!! I like!!
Boy you sure do fabulous creative work and this one is breath taking - with this outstanding post, how long did this take? I love the wonderful colours & detail plus that moon
