Maybe not as nice as some of you ladies post. I'm not one for flower post but i try. hope i made you all proud :)

For the current contest on Definition of Field I hope? I certainly like this, as most of the ladies will too I'm sure, and purple a favorite color of mine...DOF, color, clarity...all looks good to me.

Do not sell yourself short on this one! I love that color, and the water drops are the bomb, and this is perfect for what should have been the contest this time around. Color, detail, and DOF is displayed superbly! Whatever you decide to do I'm behind you.

I love this it's saved and faved for me and the DOF and wet lens bokeh is terrific and you said you couldn't do flower shots!

truly! this is not one of my strong points.

At current time it seems the topic to the contest is rather unclear among many members. if it were to become DOF? i might consider this one as an entry. for now? i think im just going to bow out of this contest, with the others. unless a solution becomes available. seems like the only logical appoach at this current time.

Well stylo me lad, look at you. Very well done. You have turned over a new leaf?

On that discussion board you suggested, "so lets all enter with DOF!"...I think that's what everyone should do regardless of the fact that the contest is called Letters and Numbers...and we should spread that idea around.

LOL, i turn over leaves, rocks ect...everyday! still the same dung under each and everyone. thats what i get for moving to greener pastures...

I would like to make one point clear about the current confusion on the contest topic. by no means am i boycotting. some might see it as such. im just waiting for a more logical reason and then resolution to the problem. DOF pictures im in no shortage of. its a common rather simple topic most of us have many on hand. its not like i have to break a leg looking for one...yes pun intented! :)

reply to mesmerized suggestion: i do believe we need to give the authorities of the site time, to see if indeed it was a computer glitch. no use in jumping the gun! thats why i stated "by no means will i boycott" if a solution is not found to the problem? then why not mix things up a little and pick the topic of your choice. I would much rather lose with an off-topic picture, then win with a picture of forced and control(not by the people) topic! i personally am going to wait for now. as i stated in my last comment to this issue "for now? i will bow out" i didnt say anything about a total boycott. let the Mods do thier job first, i believe would be the best choice.

Ok...did you or anyone bring this to mimi's attention? I may be wrong but I don't think she can fix it...I think the whole thing is automated and it would takes caedes himself to re-program or adjust the situation...however, we have several days before the contest ends...perhaps we should wait awhile and see what happens...if nothing happens and there are no entries in the Letters and Numbers contest, then everyone interested might enter DOF images...how's that idea?

I think Saw is right on the Fix. i believe a wait period wouldnt be too much trouble, then Fix the problem ourselves. we the people have the power with the votes! why boycott altogether! when we can salvage and enjoy the rest of it as we see fit...little different? differents is always good! COUNT ME IN :) then again it dont take much talking me into anything...its why i sit here with a broken leg/hip.
