I like the picture, it has a nice atmosphere. Judging from the shadow, it looks like you have taken it in the middle of the day when the sun was up in the sky. If you have the opportunity, you could try and repeat the shot before sunset, when the sun will create less hard shadows ans also light up the north side which in the picture is a bit too dark. Thanks for sharing this image.

The title certainly follows through with the picture. I agree with what Rob wrote about the lighting. Try different angles, it looks like there is a small cemetary near it, try taking different angled shots using that as a backdrop and so on. Good work, has great potential!

so everyone knows, I'm not able to get back to the site to try different angles. I had a limited amount of time to get the shot. I've got afew other shots though of the church and the surrounding cemetery that might eventually find their ways on here. thanks for all the comments.

I go along with the rest....and.....also the grave stone distracts from the image.....nice image thanks for sharing.

I personally love landscapes of all kinds, and while I like the photo overall, to me the power lines and other "modern day" (signs, cars, etc) detract from the overall composition. Thanks for the comment on "...Of Ages Past". Fortunately I have another opportunity at that one.
