The dark clouds in the background give it an ominous feel like something catastrophic is about to happen. Nice.

You captured the sky well, I guess I see too many of this type of streetlight to appreciate a photo of one. But maybe if you would shoot straight up with your camera and get the shot of the underpart of the light, or maybe crop it a bit.Not sure. The idea is good, keep trying. Verena

i love the sky, it's darkly overwhelmind...the streetlight is a good contrast (dark vs light, etc.) nice.

The streetlight is supposed to be the interest in this shot, but I believe it's the sky. There is a good contrast between the bright light and the stormy sky. The skys color is good, and the red of the light gives alittle zip to the shot. To me there's too much of the light pole in the image. I feel like verenabloo, that the idea is a good one, and I look forward to more of your images Taylor :)
