What a pleasure it must have been to have the same lily plant bloom again on Mother's Day. I like the composition ... the angle to show off the lilies features is nicely done & then framed by the tall leaves. The only caveat I have ... is the focus is a bit soft ... don't know if it was intentional to go with a softer look or not, so thought I'd mention it. The colors look natural against the black background. The vertical presentation work well too.

I usually try to find something negative and something positive when I comment on an image, but this one is great. It looks like a photograph I would hang in my living room. Was it a macro shot? Either way it looks wonderful against the dark background and I think it definitely enhances the image. Great work, keep the creativity coming.

This picture, has a real soft feel to it,and the out of focus leaves,works well.
