I love this. Its so sculptural. It reminds me absolutely of Rachel Whiteread's in-situ 'cast' of a Victorian terraced house - 193 Grove Road in Bow, E3. Go google! and have a look. This shot is just so graphic and the composition so good. Thank you. Tommy
“I knew I could make some wings/ Because I knew the art of trying/ I had done all the passionless things/ Long practiced the poetry of implying/ This was the end of just talking/ The riotous rattling of tongues/ These were the last days of walking/ Into the boredom to come/ The inversion of flesh into feathers/ The alchemy of blood into bone/ An ascent from the tyranny of tethers/ A gravity-led life has condoned/ An act of rebellion and beauty/ The cold inquisition of light/ A caesarean birth of the notion/ The heart in its cage can take flight”/
Hey! I'm sure this building was in one of my strange dreams! Did you see a little guy in a tux and a top hat anywhere nearby? Anyway, that aside, I really like this photo. It is interesting and fun. I like my wallpaper to make people do a doubletake and this one fits the bill.
