good subject, with a good story, the rose offering a glimmer of hope to the surrounding neglect

the subject is interesting, but the color seems to be too heavy on the blues and is unbalanced to me. the empty stem on the left distracts from the central rose a bit, i think, because it captures the light so much. It does tell a story that I like. thanks for sharing
