You are looking down the canyon towards Ivins, Utah, where I lived for 12 years. I taught elementary school at Santa Clara Elementary. This is a beautiful place. I've hiked all through these red rocks, into little pocket canyons where you can find water flowing. For a desert this is quite lush. Behind you, if you go up the road a little ways are a couple of cinder cones, where much of the lava you find in the park came from. Thanks for sharing this and bringing back fond memories.

Wow. Ivins is quite a beautiful place, my grandparents just moved there because they absolutely loved the area. I, personally, enjoy the Tuacahn High School, but mostly because I'm a theatre person. I'm glad you liked the photo!

Judging from the size of the trees and road, those rocks must be quite big. It looks like cowboy country to me. Very interesting photo.

This song came on when i was lookign at this picture, and I think it works

This is forgiven
/if the uniform fits
/postponed at the first showing,

/this is the tension mark
/of frozen icicles.
/and it feels like its snowing.

/you speak in toungues,
/tremors that warn of of ourselves.

Seems right.
