I really like your original thought concerning the flowers. I too recently took some pictures with poppy buds, and you managed to capture it really, really well. The fuzzy texture, the slightly abrasive leaf texture-- everything. Although the colors may seem a bit monotonous, it somehow works here. Keep up the good work, and I will be waiting for the second flower image!

Hi Russell -- We have a plant here like this. Are they Chinese poppies? Big flowers with paper thin petals? beautiful flowers. good clear image. lots o greenery...cool -Bill

Good detail in the subject while making it stand out from the background - very good for a desktop, especially if green is your favorite color!
