My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
Not bad, SAS. My personal suggestion would be for you to lie down while taking this shot. Perspective would be certainly more interesting, particularly for those who view you taking this photograph. LOL Do you like my new avie? SAM & SAAB
I have always wanted to build a walkway like that in my yard, but never carried through with the idea. I love your composition here. The curve in the walkway is very appealing, as are the colors of the bricks and the foofies. I am not sure what editing you did, but it looks great on my screen. Well done, Sandi.
Love how you have the path with it love stone and very colourful stone to leading one eyes around the garden and the light is superb as well.I also like the splashes of colour from the flowers too.Very nice post and superb compstion too.
what it is? its great Tigs my friend...its got this calming mood with a sense of anticipation around the corner...leaving the viewer with wanting more! i love the walk way. i would have like to seen it "keep it wide shoot side to side" as they make better for DT's. although i doubt you would have had the same impack on my eyes shot any other way then this. i would like to visit this place one day, we are not far from each other...i feel one day soon that might happen, then you will take me here?
I love this shot Tigs!!! Your editing is just fine, in fact, its spot on. Also like the large flower/plant arrangement in the foreground. The brick pathway is so inviting and the colors used are so complementary - puts me in mind of the yellow brick road!!! This is a place I would definitely like to visit. Excellent and nicely done:-):-):-):-):-):-):-):-):-):-)
It is a lovely garden. I like the composition with the gentle sweep of the walkway drawing the eye. I'm not sure what you did with the edit. Was it something to do with the lighting. Good job Sandi.
The garden looks remarkably free of garden gnomes. Did you round them all up so they wouldn't clutter the shot, or merely clone them out of existence? Good composition of the scene with lovely colours and details, Sandi.
Well, I really like it girlfriend, it's almost a yellow brick road. In full you can see there is some writing on those red bricks that are laid the same direction as the yellow ones. Do you know they said? I tried blowing it up big on my Mac but couldn't quite read it.
