This is from my day away with some friends to Grand Haven, Michigan. It is about a 3 drive for us. It was a warm, windy day, and loved being by Lake Michigan.

I truly enjoyed myself, picture taking, having lunch, and shopping. :)

Used the canon 40D with the sigma 17-70mm lens.

Thank you for commenting, I appreciate it.

I wish I was a Glow Worm, a Glow Worm's never glum, 'cause how can you be grumpy, when the sun shines out your bum?

I love this lighthouse, although I have never seen it in person yet. Gorgeous shot, Sandi. I love the composition.

A very nice image with a bold red lighthouse. It must seem weird to be at a place that looks like the ocean without the smell of the saltwater. Good job. I'm glad you got to get away for a while.

Well composed shot with very good clarity Sandi. The lighthouse looks great especially against that sky.

Well framed, and those colors... YIKES! The framing really give a feeling of the vastness of the ocean. Great job, Tigs.

Emptiness is not nothingness. It is simply the opposite of full of it.

Not one lighthouse, but two and on a lake to boot. Madness!!! :)
Excellent photo with great punchy colours and composition.
Think it would look good in Black & White too.

An odd place to put an elevated train station; but what do I know about civil engineering? A good perspective in the photo and a lovely capture of the lighthouse, Sandi.
