The other day it was so beautiful out, so I took a nice drive, and ended up this Museum which I had been meaning to visit for a long time, so now it can be taken off my bucket list. I will share a few more from my visit.

I received an email from Pat (skates) and her brother's health is declining and not expected to make it much longer. She wanted me to let you know she might be away from Caedes for ahwile. My thoughts go out to her at this difficult time.

I also want to let you know that after reading Raj's thread about the declining activity on Caedes, I'm in the process of inviting some old friends back, and after messaging amishy on fb, she told me she would come back and give it a go. So I hope if she is not on your friends list, that you will add her. Here is link to her gallery

I appreciate your comments on my post today, thank you.I believe it falls within the code of conduct with the advertisement.

A fine capture Sandi - the metallic tones are superb.
Thoughts are with Pat and her family.

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

Driven away by some of the daft rules on here Sandi....Funny how there's never a problem with Flickr...Need some rules but really they go over the top sometimes..Nice picture from a dark area...R.

Very good capture considering the light conditions. I have also contacted Ami on facebook.

I remember Ami's post very well - I hope she comes back. I agree to a certain extent with Richie but I know in the group I moderate on Flickr we have very strong rules about the posts and we have over 10,000 members in that group. I feel we don't encourage non-photographers very much especially in our contest topics. That must be a most interesting museum Sandi and I like the lighting in this very much highlighting the one windmill in particular.

An interesting museum that highlights what comes to mind when I think of the midwest. I look forward to your other posts from your bucket list visit to this museum. Sorry to learn of Pat's brother's faulting health. I'll pray for him and Pat.

Sandi - This old building was taken down, likely moved to this location, then rebuilt, as evidenced by the id markings on the posts and beams. Repurposed as a museum, it is displayed well in your photo. These windmills made possible the development of the western US.

Is a visit to a bucket museum on your list? An interesting find and good capture, Sandi.
