Looks a lot like the Cariana Nebula from the Space Gallery with a tree in front of it.

I was teetering on the edge of my apartment building, ready to leap to my death. Many attempts were made to nudge me back to safety but to no avail. My Mother in Law, whom I love dearly, was searching on the net for life saving photos and this one came up. She printed it and thrust it out to me. I grabbed the photo and my life passed before my eyes...I swear I saw God. I realized life was worth living and came back down. Thanks buddy.

It looks like Yggdrasil, the world tree, but also the inside of the human heart. Very deep. Gorgeous, like all of your work.

although i think the composition is good, it seems like the tree is a little isolated from the background. i like the color choice - i wouldn't change that just to unify the scene. it just seems to me that the tree is sticking out in the foreground, "floating," particularly at the bottom (at the top by all the branches it seems to belong in the scene much more). nice work though!

Memorable. For a few years, I had this image on my desktop at work but lost it recently during re-installation. Thankfully, the picture is still here. My office mates were fascinated. For many, the image required a doubletake, because it took them a moment to realize that instead of white capillaries running through a multicolored organ, they were looking at a striking image of a tree in front of an awesome sky.
