Wow Tristan, the dark green blurred background accentuates the beautiful orange of this poppy so well. That stalk in the upper right is a bit distracting to my eye, but nothing that keeps me from dowloading this to my harddrive and right into my fav's folder where it can continue to bloom throughout the cold winter! Thanks :~)

Lovely picture!! I like the dark green background with the bright orange flower. Very good contrast. I think the stalk in the upper-right gives the picture balance!! The stalk is clear, but not as clear as the flower. So it does not pull much attention away from the flower. Great shot!!
