More experimenting with editing techniques - Satin look with a slight touch of Ortonish. All comments and critiques appreciated.

Now that's really pretty. Ortonization works well on many things. Here the petals look like porcelain.Lots of petals on this bloom. I like your experimentation.

Kathy...I guess you must have just got bored with posting spectacular flower shots and have decided to branch into editing. Why don't you give DreamySuite Bonus Effects a try. It's a free download and can do some wondrous magic to flower shots.

Roger

P.S. I really like what you've done with this image. Simple flower shots, even perfect ones like yours, probably get old with time. You know, you could always throw in an occasional landscape.

Glad you feel comfortable enough to be this open with us. Interesting editing effects and beautiful colours in your photo, Kathy. I like the details in the petals, but the scattered bits of noise is distracting to my eye.

The difference between a bad artist and a good one is: the bad artist seems to copy a great deal; the good one really does. ~William Blake
