I don't see as many white ones as I do the purples but there are a few around and I liked this one. The unopened buds are a creamy yellow and then pop open pure white with the yellow center. All comments and critiques appreciated.

Lovely color capture, the white can be tricky, but you pulled if off so well. I see mostly purple around here too. Tigs♥ =^..^=

I really don't know how you do it, Kathy. Years ago you told me you used filters. I know it would look like this if I tried a shot of a white flower in direct sunlight.

I never saw white lilac, Kathy, so beautiful, delicate and they seems to be smiling, indeed!

Some people have Gurus, I have my camera. Through the cam lenses I have learnt to deeply perceive life, not only to see, but to look at all expressions of nature, becoming able to read the poetry of the flowers, receiving the embrace of the trees and flying above the clouds without wings! - Susie Sun

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

A good job capturing these fragrant beauties in the light, Kathy. Lovely colours and clarity in the photo. We don't see too many white ones around these parts.

Kathy - Very pretty! (Each time I see white lilacs I am reminded of a neighbor who, upon moving into his new house, cut down the ones that were growing at our common property border. I would have gladly transplanted them had he said something first. Arrgh!) Thad
