I've done a B&W rework on one of my images for the Wednesday B&W challenge managed so well for us all by LynEve. This image was shot in July in very early light so it worked well into the contrasts and tones of B&W.

Like you, I love playing around with the artistic modes. Oftentimes the post photo work is more fun than the photography. Good luck in the B/W challenge.
