Built in 1921 and located in Waimea on the west side of the island of Kauai this former church is on the National Register of Historic Places. It was a day with deep bright blue skies and very puffy white clouds. For the B&W challenge this week.

Certainly a nice shot, Kathy. Is it a private home now or a public site?

Kathy - B/W works well for this capture. Excellent use of the foreground wall and tree to frame the historic church. Many years ago, I met several of the leaders of this church, while they were touring the US continent. Thad

The sky sets of the details of the church nicely. I like the toned B & W & the lighting on the palm trees. Very well done, Kathy.

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
