This is the hotel where I stayed while recently in Wisconsin. Although it does not look so, it only began as a hotel in 2006. It is what they call a "European Style Boutique" - I don't know exactly what that means but it is a small hotel, only 38 rooms and suites, mostly suites. As suits the exterior Georgian architecture, the interiors are all classic furnishings such as Chippendale and Duncan Phyfe with oil paintings everywhere and walnut paneled walls. The building was once the warehouse for the Lang Company famous for home accessories, greeting cards and candles. It is remarkably quiet, I literally did not hear a sound when in our suite. It sits on a small hill overlooking the town of Delafield. The reception for the wedding I was attending was held here which is why we chose to stay there.
