This covered bridge is on one of the two roads that intersect and form the historic village of Long Grove IL. This is Robert Parker Coffin road and this bridge allows only one vehicle at a time be it a car, motorcycle or bicycle. It is a sleepy little village most of the time so traffic doesn't back up much except during the strawberry, chocolate or apple festivals

Awesome capture, and a beautiful covered bridge. I wish it was closer to me. I would spend a lot of time there just admiring it.

Since when did they start making strawberry stuffed apples covered in chocolate, and why wasn't I told? I really need to start getting out more.

A good perspective in the photo and a lovely capture of the bridge, Kathy.
