I think there is not quite enough ground on this one and personally the effect added over the top rather spoils what is a fantastic sky shot. Sometimes more is less, but I suppose it is entirely personal taste. The sky itself is good and I also like the ground with the smoke form chimneys rising against the lower sky reflecting ground fires with the sky's own fiery colours.

I really didn't care much for the vertical lines in the print. It reminded me of wallpaper actually with that effect. The sky is superb, however I feel most of the drama is occurring at the extreme bottom of the print. Additionally, the sun is closer to the left of the image rather than the right, perhaps a more central approach with that would bring more into the shot- including more of that awesome sky! Overall it is a nice shot with varying opinions. I like it.

I must also agree that i would like to see more of the ground.

I disagree with everyone. I love this photo exactly how it is.
If they want to see more ground, then they can look at other photos that show more of the ground.

I really like this shot. Although there could be more ground, I think that this composition puts a fantastic emphasis on the unusual sky, and it gives it a lot of depth!

I should explain that I do not want a lot more ground, just a little more to give it some definition.
