Only when you enlarge it can you really see the post processing. It is an interesting effect, and quite subtle, but I am not sure it enhances the flower. However, it is still a pleasing picture.

I detest flower shots but this one is pretty good for something I hate. to be a bit more critical, the entire flower should have been crsip and in perfect focus.

I like the watercolor effect you applied. I'm sure the flower was crisp and in focus originally, I'm not sure if Simon knows what you've done with this image.

Interesting effect. Not a true fan of sepia colors for such a pretty flower. Somehow, this one seems to work. Nice!

You have a great flower subject to work with here. I would be interested to know if you applied a PS or PSP filter or if this was shot in low light, much like your image "Newborn" was. If shot in low light, that would explain the slightly out of focus blossom with some noise in the image.
If a filter was used, did you do sepia? or desaturated?
You have good composition with the flower slightly off center with plenty of room for icons.
Thanks for sharing this with me :)

I like the idea, however, the backdrop distracts and I agree with Mimi overall. A nice atttempt, keep'em coming as we always wanna see more!!

Why do the pictures come out square when the lens is round??
