I was hiking in the Allegheny Mountains in Pennsylvania. Yes ppigeon, that is an AK47 assualt rifle, but I just had it for self-protection (i.e. coyotes) since it is a rather desolate area.
lol yea good im not the only one that saw he had an AK-!!!!!!!!! good god!!!!! i mean maybe a .12 gauge or a 9 or even a .45 but good god~!!!!! YOU COULD STOP A RINO WITH THAT!!!!!
yea i agree with ppigeon...the amount of guns in the USA is both astonishing and depressing.....being an american myself i am proud to say i have never fire nor even held a firearm in my life and my dad owns no weapons at all.....also my family is very "anti-gun" which is a good thing.....i think any weapon that is used for murder "IE assult rifles,sniper rifles..ect ect ((basically anything but shotguns and single shot,bolt action rifles)) should be illegal.....or at least heavly restriced)
Even though I own an assualt rifle and many other firearms, I must agree with you that it is astonishing (and rather ridiculous) the amount of weapons in the U.S. Though trying to ban certain weapons would sadly have the same effect as the 18th Amendment, Prohibition. It's kind of a lose lose.
***Note- I stand neutral in the gun control debate; leave the flaming to the politicians.
Nature's first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leaf's a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf.
So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day.
Nothing gold can stay. <Robert Frost> "Nothing Gold Can Stay"
