This is the common Chicory; I wanted to try to show how delicate the inside of the flower is. I used a Mamiya 70mm lens with an extension tube and a close up filter. Thanks for your time and any comments are always welcome.

Joe - I imagine this little flower was a challenge to capture, as even the slightest breeze would clobber efforts to focus the bloom. Your shallow dof, with the focus on the anthers, works very well. The side lighting helps accentuate the focal points. Thad

You are showing us...(Well me, especially)..stuff I don't normally see!....I always associated Chicory with coffee!...never though it has flowers!..

Beauty of a shot, Joe. Love the color and the lighting is excellent. My Grandfather use to give his cattle Chicory for a wormer. Alot of cattle ranchers still use some form of it today.
