Taken on Mackinaw Island by the big hotel. Nice little paths and such and this was the only one that turned out decently. The Glory of God is revealed in the Human Heart Fully Alive.

I can't believe no one has commented on this! I think the picture needs something more to make it more attractive, something to pull attention *to* it, like perhaps some color other than green somewhere in it. But my comment is not meant to be a criticism, I think it's friggin AWESOME that you took a picture of ferns! I love ferns, and I've always had a thing for them. The sunlight looks really nice on them.

This may sound nuts, but this pic makes me hungry! Did you know you can eat ferns before they have unfurled? My grandmother and I used to go out gathering them; she called them "fiddleheads". We would eat them boiled with a little butter and garlic; yum!
