This has a soft dreamy quality to it that just makes it irresistible. The sun shining through the feathers as the one preens and the other looks off making one wonder what it's seeing. Very nice.

Very nice photo and good framing as well. One first glance I thought the shot was tilted, but by looking at the legs of the gull on the left I can see that the posts really are tilted and if you made them straight the bird would appear to be leaning.
