Today I drove down to Southern Oregon and when I came back towards Portland there was a gorgeous sun setting. So I kept pulling over on the hiway and taking shots.( I used to take the pics while driving!)..just as I was to take the sunset picture..a logging truck came flying by..so I happened to get him on there..but this photo turned out pretty good from that "accidental shot" of my Digital the hiway is on a slight incline, so thats why the slant..and I left the dotted line of the hiway instead of taking it off, I felt it showed the moment much more....thanx for visiting..

I really like this image. It's a great, golden sunset, and mysterious, puffy clouds. The fact that you have a perfect silhouette of a big logging truck gives this a feeling of movement. It's unique, not the kind of pic you'd shoot intentionally, but nonetheless a great shot...Great job!!!..=)

You have done a good job by taking the sudden shot. Cant complain since you have taken the maximum out of the oppotunity. Nice work!!

One more thing to add. If you can do some ps work and make the horizon balanced it will be more pleasent.

To us flatlanders that looks pretty steep. I bet he was in granny gear. Nice timing and very original, beautiful clouds and sun. You could probably sell a lot of these in truck stops.

This is different and that's good. I find the clouds and the color of the sky around them especially appealing in this shot. I do agree that the angle of the horizon (whether accurate or not) is a bit of a distraction and the photo would probably be more appealing in you were to straighten it in an editing application.

Well, I'm a retired trucker and I could kill that driver for getting in the way. I'd rather have the sunset without the truck. At least, you snapped it at the exact perfect moment with him there. I'll bet he was sitting in that cab just enjoyingb the stuffins out of that beautiful sight. Great capture.

Nicely captured, a split second either way and the sun would have been obscured.
