Cool shot Verena. I can remember I took some thing very similar to this of a rail road through the woods but I should say this is way better than my shot :) Its a very soothing images to see and needless to say it reminds me of "LOST"

Very inviting image! I'm sure it felt good to be in the shade. It looks hot on the beach! I like the way you used the trees to frame the beach. Very good composition.

Hi Verena, my goodness, I don't know what to say, this is just too beautiful to imagine! Can one even think of overlooking this view through your window on a daily basis? I have seen similar views from hotel patios etc, but just think this is nearby and close enough that you can enjoy it as often as you wish! What a thrill! And once again you have captured a scene to perfection! A fantastic photo and done so well, high marks from me! You do very nice work Verena! Sincerely, Marilyn

Wow, Verana, this is amazing. You should put all of your photos into a photo journal of Oregon and publish it. I would buy it in an instant. (Yes, your photos are that great)

What a neat perspective. I feel protected and hidden from the viewpoint you have provided as I survey the kingdom down below. I love the play of light on that big tree trunk on the right. It is an exquisit bit of color among the darkess of the forest.

One thing, my mind's eye keeps wanting the beach scene not to be quite so light. But then, I am no professional photographer and I don't know how you would get that with such two stark contracts in a one photo.

None the less, I love this unique scene.
